Dr Sivuyisiwe Mpondo is a caring paediatrician based in Gqeberha. She studied medicine at the University of Cape Town and went on to complete her specialist training in paediatrics, earning both her Fellowship and Master’s degrees. With years of experience in public hospitals and private practice, she looks after children from newborn through to adolescence. Her special interests include newborn care, ADHD, autism, cerebral palsy and palliative support. As a parent herself, she believes every child deserves compassion, dignity and the best possible start in life.
Credentials
Dr Mpondo holds qualifications in paediatrics and is a certified child health specialist with expertise in developmental paediatrics and clinical affiliations. She is registered with all medical aids except SANDF and brings years of experience in inclusive paediatric practices as a trusted female-led paediatrician.
